Looking Forward

Vision Statement

A community where every individual — regardless of background, circumstances, or past — is embraced with dignity and unconditional grace, guided by faith toward lasting purpose, and empowered to reach their God-given potential in the heart of Saskatchewan and beyond.

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast."

— Ephesians 2:8–9 (NIV)
Deeply Held Beliefs

Our Core Values in Detail

These six core values are not simply words on a page — they are the living principles that shape every decision we make, every program we run, and every person we serve at Amazing Grace Associated Ministries Inc.

🕊️ Grace +
Grace is the heartbeat of our ministry. We understand grace as the unconditional, unmerited favor of God — freely given, abundantly available, and transformatively powerful. At Amazing Grace Ministries, we extend this same grace to every person who crosses our threshold: the homeless and the housed, the broken and the whole, the longtime believer and the searching skeptic. We do not require perfection before offering welcome. We offer welcome as the first step toward healing and wholeness.
✝️ Faith +
Faith is the foundation upon which every aspect of our ministry is built. We believe in a living, active God who is intimately concerned with the wellbeing of every person in Estevan and around the world. Our faith is not passive — it compels us to act, to serve, to speak words of hope and take concrete steps of compassion. We cultivate faith through regular worship, Scripture study, and prayer, and we invite all who join us to deepen their own faith journey in a safe, nurturing environment.
🤝 Community +
We are profoundly community-oriented. We believe that human beings are created for connection — to know and be known, to support and be supported. Our ministry works actively to build authentic community both within our congregation and across Estevan as a whole. We partner with local organizations, schools, hospitals, and social agencies because we know that the best outcomes happen when communities work together. The spirit of "Amazing Grace" is a community spirit — generous, inclusive, and deeply connected.
⚖️ Justice +
Biblical justice is not merely a social or political concept — it is a mandate from God to advocate for the vulnerable, the marginalized, and the overlooked. At Amazing Grace Ministries, we pursue justice by addressing the root causes of poverty, inequality, and suffering in our community. We believe that every human being carries inherent dignity as an image-bearer of God, and our programs are designed to uphold that dignity in practical, tangible ways — from providing food to the hungry to offering emotional and spiritual support to the grieving.
🌅 Hope +
Hope is not naive optimism — it is a confident expectation grounded in the character and promises of God. We are a ministry of hope in the truest sense: we believe that no situation is irredeemable, no person is beyond reach, and no community is too broken to be healed. We carry this hope into hospital rooms, into community centers, into youth programs, and into every pew each Sunday. We share this hope freely, without condition, because we believe it is the most valuable gift we can offer to any person.
🌿 Service +
Service is the natural expression of a life transformed by grace. We follow the example of Jesus, who came "not to be served but to serve" (Matthew 20:28), and we call our entire community to embrace this servant posture. From our volunteer-driven food outreach to our pastoral care teams, from our youth mentorship to our senior visitation programs — service is woven into everything we do. We believe that every act of service, no matter how small, is a sacred act that reflects the love of God and builds a stronger, more compassionate community.
